As the co-founder and creative lead of Vim & Vigor, I spearheaded the consultancy’s growth, scaling it into a vibrant multidisciplinary firm within a year of inception.
I established its tone of voice, hired and developed talent, created all operations and processes, acquired and managed client relationships. I actively led a 6 person design team, contractors, and vendors in launching over 50 products in CE and Home categories for clients such as Fabbian, Barnes & Noble Nook, Kitchenaid, Wedgwood, Waterford, and others.
One of my favorite V&V projects - the Oru lighting collection was designed for Fabbian Italia. An ICFF Studio award recipient, this line of pendants puts a modern twist on an age old metal spinning technique.
The pendants’ unique form is achieved through hand spinning metal shades, introducing keyhole shaped incisions, and folding the metal in. The result is a singular tulip-like form, offering distinct aesthetic appeal from every angle. Pendants’ keyhole elements create an intriguing light and shadow play offering further visual interest.
